ASH - Mission

This site has been designed for ease of access to information. Use the main menu on the left hand side of the page to move around the different areas of the site. Some areas of the site have separate sub-menus, and some pages are accessible directly from the menu. At any point you can click the large ASH logo at the top left of the site to return to the ASH home page.

All links are in aqua, and in most cases, non-HTML downloads (such as PDF files or powerpoint presentations) are clearly indicated.

	*Software*	This site has not been optimised for use with Internet Explorer 5 or above, you should be able to use most of the functions available with any version 4 or above browser. You can use these links to get a free copy of the latest version of the open source browser M ozilla, Microsoft's Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. We have also used Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Powerpoint 2000 to create downloadable documents, and viewers for both progammes are availalble at the Adobe and Microsoft websites. ******************************************
	*Search tool*	You can access the search page from anywhere on the site by clicking 'search using google' in the topic menu on the left hand side of the screen. You can search on any individual key word; multiple key words; or phrases. Include your phrase in quotation marks like so: "tobacco smuggling in the UK" in order to search for pages specifically containing that phrase. You can exclude search terms using the minus - sign. For example the search term smoking -workplace would find all pages containing the term smoking except any page also containing the word workplace. If your search does not result in any suggestions try using a wider term, or if you have too many options, try using multiple words to make your search more specific.
